The Leap Motion Controller is a small infrared 3D sensor that can be used as a Human-Computer Interface. This project demonstrates gesture recognition and gives the user a three-dimensional space to “paint” in the air and see their gestures output on the screen.
The controller recognizes variations in gestures including, velocity, number of fingers, or hands, depth and position. The culmination of all these inputs is fed into the NeoBrush generative art platform where is displays expressions of motion as a digital painting.
